Hydroflux Secures ARDEX Project to Deliver Sustainable Trade Waste System

August 21, 2025

Hydroflux Industrial has recently secured a project with ARDEX to supply a trade waste treatment system for their brand-new $140 million manufacturing facility in Kemps Creek, NSW. A global leader in specialty construction chemicals, ARDEX has invested in this state-of-the-art facility to support its continued growth in the ANZ market.

The Huber Screw Press is a highly efficient, low-energy solution for sludge dewatering

Hydroflux and its engineers have a long-standing history of working with paint and adhesive-related wastewater and have developed a novel treatment process utilising the HUBER screw press. This process is specifically designed to manage the high solids and often viscous nature of such waste streams. Widely installed across both the industrial and municipal sectors throughout ANZ, the HUBER screw press was selected for this project due to its superior dewatering efficiency and ease of maintenance, key advantages when dealing with challenging wastewater from paint and adhesives.

The ARDEX facility is designed with future sustainability in mind, incorporating features such as 17,000 square metres of rooftop solar panels. All HUBER equipment and specialty paint-targeted chemicals supplied by Hydroflux are certified carbon neutral, aligning with ARDEX’s commitment to environmentally sustainable operations.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with a global brand like ARDEX and supporting them on their transition toward Industry 4.0,” says Mathew Foster, CEO of Hydroflux Industrial. “We’re committed to helping all our customers adopt greener, more sustainable water treatment processes, as we work together toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.”
