Hydroflux Supports dnata Expansion with New Integrated Perth Hub
April 23, 2026
Dnata, a leading global air and travel services provider, is strengthening its presence in Western Australia with the construction of a new multi-million-dollar facility at Perth Airport. The development will support a local workforce of approximately 370 people and has been designed with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability to support long-term environmental objectives.
Hydroflux has been engaged to design, supply and construct a modern trade wastewater treatment plant to support the new facility. The system has been specifically designed to manage wastewater generated from large-scale airline catering operations.

Hydroflux has extensive experience in treating wastewater from food production and catering facilities and has developed a robust treatment process capable of managing multiple wastewater streams from across the site. The plant incorporates heat recovery and utilises Hydroflux Industrial’s carbon neutral HyDAF dissolved air flotation technology to ensure compliant discharge to the Water Corporation sewer network.
The system includes:
- Automated screening installed at ground level to simplify maintenance and reduce operational costs
- Heat recovery to improve energy efficiency and enable temperature-controlled treatment
- Dual balancing tanks to manage variable flows and minimise bund volume
- A carbon neutral HyDAF dissolved air flotation system
- A HydraBLEND polymer make-up and dosing system
- Integrated chemical dosing and sludge management systems designed to suit the operational requirements of the facility
“Hydroflux has recently expanded our presence in Western Australia, so securing the opportunity to support a major local project so quickly is extremely pleasing,” said Mathew Foster, CEO of Hydroflux Industrial. “Western Australia presents many opportunities across mining and manufacturing, and this project highlights our capability in treating wastewater from food and beverage operations. We look forward to supporting industry across WA with advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions.”
