
Trash Screens for Fairfield Stormwater Plant Awarded to Hydroflux

Hydroflux is pleased to be supporting Fulton Hogan on another screening project upgrade with the design, supply and commissioning of four large RakeMax® Trash Screens for the Fairfield Stormwater Plant, located in Sydney.

Each screen is sized for 1760 L/s and will be provided with 15mm bar spacing to capture gross solids during wet weather conditions. The screens have the ability to remove a very high amount of gross solids and coarse material from the water stream.
Technology Highlights
- Heavy duty design for removal of high loads of gross screenings, plastics and other debris
- Available in bar spacings from 6 to 50mm, suitable for channel widths from 500 to 3000mm wide with over 12 different discharge heights
- Mechanical torque protection
- Automatic scraper mechanism (no wash water required)
- All stainless steel fabrication
- Proven in Australian applications with references in operation for over 15 years
